Me Bee - I let my camera go in my backyard while I had a couple of beers and watched TV.

That is good trail

3 beers and the stars are still clear. Impressive. I just read that my D90 will only do 30 min if I use my infrared remote...have to use the cablerelease to go longer! :'-( Kinda stinks that it takes so long for one shot. Gonna take a few tries to perfect it. You don't have your properties or a large shot... I'll give you awards on your next try after you get some better beer and work on your composition! :-)

Me Bee - I had Yuengling!!! Brickheadbs - instead of dissing it, why don't you tell me how to compose it and make it better. I would recomend a suggestion if it was me critiquing a guys first attempt! Don't worry about it... My other friends have given me complements and awards. I have plenty!

Nice, really nice! Try it somewhere, sometime in a trip. Far away from city lights! Try also to get a station point near a tree, or bush or other interesting thing and from time to time, while your exposure is on the run, try to "paint " with light ( from a torch)

Very good star trails

Looks good. What aperture did you use? Looks like you had it pretty wide as the sky almost looks like daylight.

Walt_Felix - I had it at f22 I think. I bumped up the brightness and that is what I got. I could have left it with a black sky but I liked the blue...
